Earthglow is Collecting

Toiletry Items for TEEM

The Education and Employment Ministry, also known as TEEM, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to breaking cycles of incarceration and poverty through education, personal development and work-readiness training. As they prepare to reenter society, TEEM participants may lack items essential for personal health and hygiene. New hygiene products are a valued item to promote wellness, professionalism and confidence as participants reenter the workplace. Earthglow will again be collecting toiletry items throughout the month of July and August. Please bring new, full-sized deodorant, soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrushes, toothpaste, alcohol-free mouthwash, and floss to Earthglow and place it in the TEEM collection box

13.2 COFFEE SHOP

Come have fun making great drinks in 13.2 Coffee Shop!

Dana Israel, manager of the 13.2 Coffee Shop for over 6 years, passes the torch (or Servant cup) to M. J. Means, who has taken over management of the shop.  Dana will still be around, but is retiring from this position.  Thanks, Dana, for your years of service..

There are a few openings on Sunday mornings for YOU!  13.2 Coffee Shop is looking for some bright smiling faces to open one time a month on a Sunday morning – 7:20 to 9:40 a.m.

Specifics: You would make coffee and set up for the morning, as well as serve our wonderful congregation from behind the counter as they come to worship. Have questions? Contact MJ Means - 405-306-1169.

She would love to have you join the awesome 13.2 team!

TEACHERS AND SUBS FOR SERVANT KIDS

Share Your Faith with Some Awesome Kids!  Servant Kids, 3 years through 5th grade, would love for you to join them on Sunday mornings to share your faith and be a witness to them. We have several opportunities to do just that this fall. Do you have 3-6 hours a month to make a difference in a child’s life – a difference that makes an impact for a lifetime? Servant Kids ministry is also searching for adults who are willing to substitute in our Sunday morning program when a leader needs to be gone. This doesn’t happen very often, but when it does, we need someone for an hour during either the 9:30 or 11:00 class times. Contact Kourtney Aller by email or 728-4715. The email or phone call is not a life commitment, but it can change a child’s life forever.
