"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
- Jeremiah 29:11
LADIES: Join us for a memorable and meaningful evening of food, fellowship, worship, and a special message titled "Hope Abounds" by author, speaker, and former Miss Oklahoma Jennifer Zabel. Our scripture focus for the evening is Jeremiah 29:11 - "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

"The Bible tells us that our faith is rooted in the confident expectation called, Hope. As Christians, we face the future with a forward-facing focus, knowing we serve a God that supersedes all circumstances and has good plans for us that are often beyond our comprehension. In the life of a believer, Hope abounds." - Jennifer Zabel

(14343 N MacArthur Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73142)

Jenni Zabel is on a passionate pursuit of the Lover of our souls and desires to bring others along with her. Through knowing Jesus and seeking Truth, she is learning how to daily walk through life in the freedom and victory Christ came to give and she believes The Father wants the same for all His beloved. As a fellow traveler on this journey of faith, she is humbly moving forward in obedience to share God’s goodness and biblical truth through writing, teaching, and speaking, and trusting Him to provide the encouragement others need. It is the beat of her heart to see God’s people live in the fullness of the gospel: redeemed, loved, transformed, surrendered, set apart.

Tenaciously Teal's Tarah Warren will also be present to share with us her journey of faith and how the dream of Tenaciously Teal was born. On this day, we will begin collecting items for Tenaciously Teal Care Packs that we will assemble on our Ladies' Mission Day on Saturday, July 13th. Scroll to the bottom of this page for more details!

The Lord has sweetly gifted her with her adored husband of 17 years, Mason, the “king of the castle”. Together, they are raising six real-life “princesses” and one young “prince”, praying they someday become world-changers for the glory of God.  Even though life is often chaotic, sleep is scarce, and schedules are stacked steep, they delight in these days with seven young children ages 3 to 15.

During this season, Jenni has been called to stay home and primarily care for their children, although as a Registered Nurse, she worked as a Labor Delivery Nurse and Pharmaceutical Sales Rep prior to beginning a family. She was also honored to serve as Miss Oklahoma 2005. She is currently the President of Breakthrough Ministries, a women’s ministry that holds yearly conferences in Oklahoma City and a bi-monthly podcast, whose purpose is to equip and edify the Body of Christ with Biblical teaching. Jenni also has the blessing of leading a weekly women’s Bible study at her church. As someone who loves the study of God’s Word, she recently became a published author of His Name is Wonderful, Getting to Know the God that Knows You, a study on five of the Old Testament Names of God.

Jenni and her family attend New City Church where her husband leads worship.

Tenaciously Teal seeks to inspire hope by providing love, community, and empowerment to cancer fighters in the midst of treatment.  Currently operating out of cancer treatment centers within the state of Oklahoma, Tenaciously Teal works with local hospital staff to provide Cancer Care Packs each month along with gas and meal cards to those needing additional assistance. Tenaciously Teal strives to deliver hope to each patient it touches; showing them they are not alone in this battle and there are people who care about their individual fight.

Tenaciously Teal’s founder, Tarah Warren, was diagnosed with Stage IV Ovarian Cancer in December of 2012. After her surgery, she began to notice many patients who needed to be reminded of God’s love for them.  Tarah began bringing Cancer Care Packs to treatment, and praying with patients over her sixteen months of chemo. Care Packs contained simple things Tarah used to fight cancer and as she distributed them she was able to share her joy and hope in Christ.
