SKYLINE URBAN OUTREACH
October Fish Appeal
Throughout October, Church of the Servant will support Skyline Urban Outreach through our monthly Fish Appeal and a church-wide Food Drive. Skyline Urban Outreach serves Oklahomans living in the shadows of poverty by bridging gaps in access to food, clothing, vision care, and other essential resources. Through its Food Resource Center, Mobile Pantry, Eye Clinic, Style Shop, and community garden, Skyline provides practical support to tens of thousands of individuals and families each year. Churches play an important role in Skyline’s mission. Together, we can help ensure our neighbors have access to the basic necessities they need to thrive. All gifts placed in the fish baskets or designated “Fish” or “Skyline” or online at ServantOKC.org/fishfund during October will support Skyline Urban Outreach. GIVE HERE
You can also participate by bringing pantry and hygiene items to the church throughout the month. Most-Needed Food Drive Items: - Peanut butter and canned meats - Hearty, chunky soups - Pasta and rice - Cereal - Easy baking mixes, such as pancake and cornbread mixes - Toilet paper and other hygiene items.

The 13.2 Coffee Shop is open Sundays from 9:00–10:00 AM! Stop by for fresh hot coffee, specialty coffee, sodas, and bottled water. We’d love to see you!
COMMITMENT SUNDAY
October 25, 2026
This Sunday, October 25, is Commitment Sunday—a time to reflect on how we can serve God through generosity and support the life and ministry we share at Church of the Servant. We invite everyone to complete a Commitment Card and bring it to worship. Together, we’ll place our cards on the Lord’s Table as a meaningful sign of our commitment to God and to one another. Please prayerfully consider what feels right for you; every person and every offering is valued. We look forward to taking this step of faith together.
MONTHLY LEADERSHIP TEAM MEETING

The Church of the Servant Leadership Team is scheduled to meet at 2:00 PM in Classroom 12 on Sunday, October 25. Go to ServantOKC.org/leadership-team for a full list of meeting dates. Any changes to dates or times will be announced no less than 10 days in advance. All Leadership Team meetings are open to the public.
COOKBOOKS ARE HERE!
Our church family cookbook is filled with favorite recipes—from comforting casseroles and homemade breads to delicious desserts and treasured family favorites. Cookbooks are $15, and proceeds support Women’s Ministry. Pick yours up at the table in the Concourse on Sunday, or contact Cindy Fast at cfast@churchoftheservant.com. FALL FEST
Sunday, October 25, 5:00-7:00 PM
Celebrate fall with an evening of family fun at Church of the Servant! Join us for Fall Fest on October 25 from 5:00–7:00 PM, featuring indoor trick-or-treating, games, bounce houses, and plenty of smiles. Costumes are encouraged for attendees and volunteers, but please, no scary costumes! Kids should bring their treat bags to collect goodies throughout the evening. This FREE event is open to everyone—invite your friends and neighbors! Help us share the joy beyond our church by bringing canned goods to support our October Skyline Mission and our neighbors in need. Look for bins located throughout the concourse.
We need YOU for Fall Fest! We invite Sunday School classes, Bible study groups, small groups, families, groups of friends, and individuals to commit to hosting a booth and handing out candy during Servant Fall Fest. We welcome decorated trunks and costumed volunteers, and we'll award prizes! We also need hospitality volunteers during the event, help with set-up and clean-up, inflatable monitors, and bags of individually wrapped candy. Look for candy bins in the concourse.

PUMPKIN PAINTING CONTEST
Drop-off on October 25th
Break out your art supplies and paint a pumpkin to be displayed during our Fall Festival on October 25th! Fall Fest visitors will vote for their favorite pumpkin, and the winner will receive a prize! Be sure to put your name(s) on the bottom of the pumpkin before drop-off!

Sharing Christ’s Love This Christmas
Starts Sunday, November 1st!
For more than 20 years, Christmas Grace has been a cherished Church of the Servant tradition. Each year, we partner with community agencies to support local families and individuals who could use a little extra care during the holiday season. Preparations are already underway! Beginning Sunday, November 1, you’ll find Christmas Grace tables in the Concourse, with opportunities to choose a family or individual to sponsor and gift lists to guide you. Make a plan with your family, class, or study group to take part. Together, we can share Christmas joy and put Jesus’ teachings into action by offering care, generosity, and love to our neighbors. Join us in being the hands and feet of Christ this season!
CHILI COOK-OFF & MOVIE NIGHT
November 6, 2026 | 5:30 PM
Bring your appetite—and maybe your best chili recipe—and join us for a fun evening of great food, friendly competition, and fellowship! Think your chili has what it takes to take home the prize? Enter your best batch in our Church Chili Cook-Off! Not a chili chef? No problem! Everyone is invited to come enjoy the tasting, cheer on our cooks, and vote for your favorite. Want to enter the Chili Cook-Off? Register your chili by November 3 and bring your best batch on November 6.
After judging and everyone has had their fill, stick around for a family-friendly movie on the lawn! Bring a lawn chair or blanket, get comfortable, and enjoy a movie under the stars with your church family. Come for the chili. Stay for the movie. Bring the whole family! MESSY CHURCH

Messy Church at Church of the Servant is a fun, interactive gathering for people of all ages to experience God's love through hands-on activities, creativity, music, storytelling, and a shared meal. Designed especially for families of all kinds, each month explores a different Bible story or faith theme through engaging experiences that encourage learning, conversation, and connection. PENN AVENUE REDEMPTION CHURCH DINNER
Thursday, November 12, 2026 | 5:30 PM
Church of the Servant will be providing a chili meal for CJAMM/Redemption Mission, 1320 N. Penn Ave, on Thursday, November 12. We will feed the prison group, their companions, along with Exodus House and volunteers. Sign-up will begin October 25. We will need chili, fixings, paper goods, dessert, or simply volunteer your time. If you plan on serving, please arrive on site November 12 by 4:45 PM. LADIES: Bring a friend and join us on Tuesday, December 1, 6:00 - 8:30 PM in Community Hall for a fun evening of art and sweets. The cost is $15 and includes desserts, coffee, and all the art supplies you will need to complete a beautiful Christmas-themed art project. We will paint the adorable image above with acrylic paint on a canvas. You don’t have to be artistic to complete this project. Easy, step-by-step instructions will be provided, and basic acrylic painting techniques will be demonstrated. All materials and supplies will be provided. Come have some fun while exploring your own creativity. Your masterpiece will truly be one of a kind! Register HERE.

Our annual Earthglow Market is coming Saturday, November 14, from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM. The halls of Church of the Servant will once again be filled with wonderful vendors and plenty of opportunities to shop. And don’t forget to stay for lunch! We’ll be serving beans & cornbread, frito chili pie, and chili dogs. Plus, we’re having a HUGE bake sale featuring some of the best homemade goodies ever! You definitely won’t want to miss it! Admission is FREE, so invite your friends, family, and neighbors and make a day of it!
