2026 MISSION TRIP
Meru, Kenya
We are seeking a number of individuals to join us on our Kenya Mission Trip, taking place from February 16 to March 4, 2026. Our mission work will include working in the community of Meru, where we will have the opportunity to help build a 3-room house with a garden, visit schools to hand out supplies and deworming pills, assist at a village medical center, and undertake other assignments as needed. You do not need specific skills in construction or medicine, only a willingness to share the love of God, a smile, and a loving heart.
A $300 deposit will secure your spot on this trip, due by June 30, 2025. Checks need to be made out to Church of the Servant, with “2026 Kenya Mission” in the memo field, and please let us know of your deposit. If you have questions, contact: Jaci Finch at jkfinchok@gmail.com, Margy Milewski at margymilewski@gmail.com, Cathy Maxwell at cmaxwell20012001@yahoo.com.

LADIES' MISSION DAY
Saturday, July 12
LADIES: Join us for a mission day on Saturday, July 12th! We will meet at the church at 8:30 a.m. and carpool to the Oklahoma Regional Food Bank where we will spend the morning sorting food for the food bank. We will then travel back to the church for lunch and spend the afternoon assembling Blessings Bags for people experiencing homelessness. If you are not available for the full day, you are welcome to sign up for just the morning or afternoon session. For more information, go HERE.
The Regional Food Bank is leading the fight against hunger in Oklahoma and envisions a state where no one goes hungry. Founded in 1980, the Regional Food Bank distributes food through a network of more than 1,300 community-based partner agencies and schools in 53 counties in central and western Oklahoma. The Regional Food Bank not only distributes food, it is a leader in educating the public on hunger, advocating for those living with hunger and providing access to additional resources.
Blessing Bags, also known as care kits or necessity bags, are small packages containing essential items like food, toiletries, a prayer card, and sometimes contact information for local shelters, designed to help individuals struggling with homelessness or hardship. The purpose is to provide immediate relief and support to those in need. Here is a link to our Amazon Wish List.
