MISSION & MINISTRY FAIR

Mark your calendars now for the Church of the Servant Mission and Ministry Fair. As part of the Servant faith family we commit ourselves to supporting God’s work through this church through our prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness. Sometimes it is difficult to keep track between monthly newsletter, weekly eNews, preservice slides, announcements, and more of all the opportunities that are out there for you to participate in and live out your faith here at Church of the Servant.
For that reason you do not want to miss the Mission and Ministry Fair, Sunday August 24th in the Concourse following Sunday morning service. That Sunday, our concourse will be lined with booths representing the many mission and ministries carried out by your church. As you visit each booth you will have the opportunity to learn about what that mission and ministry does, get information, and find out how you can become more involved. Whether you are new to our family of faith or have been part of Church of the Servant for decades, this will be a Sunday you will not want to miss as you get to witness first hand the breadth and width of what God is doing in this place and discern just where God is calling you to be a part of it.
To the leaders of our various mission and ministries, we obviously want you to participate! From Sunday school classes and Bible studies, to ongoing missions, to various service teams, we need to hear from you. Please reach out to Pastor Kyle at kanderson@churchoftheservant.com and he will get you signed up for your own booth and share more information about how you can prepare for this important event.
FALL KICK-OFF COOKOUT!
Wednesday, September 3, 5:00-6:30 PM
Fall is right around the corner. Cooler temperatures, kids back in school, football, and the best part, our fall activities pick up! We want to welcome this fall season in a big way! On September 3, it is our official Fall Kick-Off! We have new Bible studies beginning, choir rehearsals, children’s programs, youth, and of course, Breaking Bread Wednesday night dinners are back! We have something for everyone.
We are planning a Fall Kick-Off Cookout on Wednesday, September 3. The Church will provide hot dogs and hamburgers, along with all the fixings. Sunday school classes and small groups will provide the sides. Dinner will be served from 5:00 to 6:30 PM. Programming will start at 6:30 PM.
MORE THAN SUNDAY MORNING
An evening of music, stories, and connection with your Praise Team
Sunday, October 5th, 6:30 PM | Centrum
Join us for a special night where your Praise Team steps out of the Sunday morning spotlight to share more about who they are. More Than Sunday Morning is a time to connect on a deeper level—through music, personal stories, and the songs that have shaped us beyond worship. You’ll hear the Praise Team perform music they love, including some secular selections from their professional or collegiate backgrounds, and maybe even see them play different instruments or roles than you’re used to. Come get to know the hearts, talents, and journeys behind the voices and instruments that lead you in worship each week. The performance is free. An offering will be taken to support the upgrade of equipment in the Celebration Center. Mark your calendar today and plan to join us!
