HOW DO I VOLUNTEER?
There are a few simple steps for you to consider when volunteering:
- Express Your Interest: Contact the ministry leader of the ministry where you are interested in serving for more information. Each ministry has different parameters and guidelines for serving.
- Meet & Greet: Take an opportunity to meet the volunteer team and observe the ins and outs of the ministry.
- Start Serving: Use your passions and skills to connect with God and with others.
HOW DO I VOLUNTEER WITH KIDS?
Share Your Faith with Some Awesome Kids! Servant Kids, 3 years through 5th grade, would love for you to join them on Sunday mornings to share your faith and be a witness to them. We have several opportunities to do just that! Do you have 3-6 hours a month to make a difference in a child’s life – a difference that makes an impact for a lifetime? Servant Kids ministry is also searching for adults who are willing to substitute in our Sunday morning program when a leader needs to be gone. This doesn’t happen very often, but when it does, we need someone for an hour during either the 9:30 or 11:00 class times. For more information, call the church office at 405-721-4141. HOW DO I VOLUNTEER WITH STUDENTS?
Servant Students Ministry is all about combining the influence of the family and the church to lead the next generation (6th-12th Grade) to become fully committed followers of Jesus Christ. We do this by 1) influencing parents and leaders, 2) leading intentional programming, and 3) creating shared family experiences. We have many opportunities to serve! HOW DO I VOLUNTEER WITH MUSIC?
Church of the Servant’s Worship Arts program involves numerous adults, youth and children giving their time and talent to glorify God through music. Each group brings unique gifts to the worship leadership of our church, making each worship service a blessing to everyone. There is always room for another musician with a heart for worship! HOW DO I VOLUNTEER WITH MEDIA?
Do you have a technical mind? Do you find yourself listening to the music mix when you should be worshipping? Do you know how to run sound? Have you always wanted to learn how to run a video camera? Do you enjoy taking photos? If your answer is YES to any of the above, then we have the ministry for you! Media Ministries is a volunteer team of individuals with diverse backgrounds who have a passion for sharing the Gospel beyond our walls! We record and live stream our services every Sunday, and we have opportunities throughout the week to capture special moments in the life of our church family. HOW DO I VOLUNTEER WITH HOSPITALITY?
Help people enter into worship with a smile, knowing that they are joining in worship with a wonderful church family! Serving within the Hospitality Team is a great way to step out in service, as well as grow deeper in the life of the church! HOW DO I VOLUNTEER WITH CARE?
Do you feel a calling to give spiritual encouragement to others who are experiencing stressful times in life? Do you sense you have gifts that make you suited for such volunteer services? If so, we have to very important areas to serve: 1) Care Chaplains, who are ready and willing to visit, pray with, and give spiritual encouragement to those in our congregation who request such support; 2) Note-Writing Team, who send heartfelt notes, cards, or letters to people who have requested prayer support.
