Fish Fund

Our Fish Fund for May 2026 will go to support:

Theological Education Endowment Fund

Empower Ministry. Inspire Hope. Support Global Leaders.

Theological Education is an important aspect of a Pastor’s development. This allows future leaders to grow in Biblical knowledge, train in practical skills of preaching and pastoral care, reflect upon the ups and downs of ministry in a safe space, and more. While this opportunity is accessible and financially viable for many future pastors in the United States, it is not in other parts of the world. For this reason, during the month of May, United Methodists from around the globe are making financial gifts to support the creation of a Theological Education Endowment Fund. These funds will be used to support the ministry education of pastors in places like Africa, Europe, and the Philippines.

Church of the Servant will be joining with our brothers and sisters from across the globe in this endeavor. All funds placed in the fish baskets or donated to Church of the Servant with “Fish” or “Education” in the memo line during the month of May will be given to this special cause. Thank you for your above-and-beyond gifts supporting theological education, helping the United Methodist Church fulfill Jesus’ great commission to make disciples of all nations!
