From Incarceration to Independent Living
Exodus House helps people transition from incarceration to independent, productive lives. Residents apply while still incarcerated and move into a healthy, nurturing, and accountable environment where they receive an individualized treatment plan for the duration of the six-month program.
A Hand Up, Not a Handout
Residents are not charged rent. Instead, their monthly contributions are saved and returned to them when they leave or graduate — savings that give them a real start. When residents complete the program, they are also able to furnish their new home with furniture and household goods.
A Remarkable Record
Over the past four years, Exodus House has reported a 1.7% recidivism rate among its residents.
