This July, your Fish Appeal gifts will support Project Transformation, a United Methodist summer ministry that helps children strengthen their reading skills, build confidence, and develop meaningful relationships with caring adults.
Church of the Servant has been blessed to partner with Project Transformation at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church this summer. Eighteen of our volunteers spent time each week listening to children read, offering encouragement, celebrating progress, and helping foster a love of learning. Our congregation also provided dinner for the college-age interns who lead the camp and donated 200 snacks for the children attending each day.
Project Transformation serves children through an eight-week summer program where they receive educational enrichment, nutritious meals, and the opportunity to grow academically, socially, and spiritually in a safe, encouraging environment.
