Once a year, we ask our members and active participants to make a special faith commitment to the church for the upcoming year. This is a commitment to support the church with their presence, prayers, service, and witness, as well as with their financial gifts. It is through our congregation’s commitments that we are able to provide the many ministries and programs that we offer each year. Through these ministries and programs, we ultimately attempt to meet our mission objective, which is to make disciples for Jesus Christ. To that end, we will introduce as many people as possible in as many ways as possible to the love and the power of the living Christ, in hopes that He will recreate all of us in His own image and restore our broken world to its original blessedness. We will lift up Christ, present and share Him positively with all, and make sure that He is always kept at the center of our endeavors.
2021 Commitment
Sunday, November 22, 2020 is Commitment Sunday for our 2021 ministry budget. This is the day that we turn in our 2021 Commitment Card to the church so that we can plan the 2021 ministry budget. The 2021 Commitment Card represents a tangible opportunity to serve God through generosity. When we return a portion of our financial blessings through our tithes and offerings, we create an opportunity for God to work in and through us. Giving changes lives in our church, our community, and our world!
Please complete a 2021 Commitment Card and return the card in one of three ways:
- Place it in the offering basket on your way out of worship service;
- Return the card to the finance office through the mail;
- Click on the "ONLINE COMMITMENT CARD" button (see above or below) to submit an electronic commitment card.
We ask that everyone return a Commitment Card, even if you can only make a limited financial commitment at this time. If your situation changes, you can always increase or decrease your commitment by calling our Finance Department at Church of the Servant, 405-721-4141.
