Life can feel uncertain at times. The uncertainty tempts us to fear, we don’t trust that things will be okay. The good news is that there is Someone we can trust in life—no matter what is happening. And, we want to make sure our preschoolers know it! We are bringing out the music, dancing, and fun instruments to help teach our preschoolers that they can Press Play and trust God. In fact, it is so important to us that they know they can trust God, we are going to focus on it for two months! And, the Bible stories they will be hearing will give them plenty of reasons why they can trust God! As our preschoolers grow up and life begins to feel a little uncertain, we want to make sure they know they can Press Play and trust that God loves them, has a plan for them, will use them, and has the power to do anything in their lives.

Our memory verse this month comes from Psalm 56:11 and says, “I trust in God. I am not afraid.” This month, we will learn that God gave us Jesus, and we can trust His plan. God can use us no matter what because He can do anything! Who can trust God? I can trust God!

This month, we will be learning about the connection between CONFIDENCE and God’s character, as shown through God’s big story. Confidence is learning to see yourself the way God sees you.

When it comes to confidence, we might try and base it on what we do well or what a teacher or parent might say about us. But true confidence should be built on something that lasts forever. We think that’s found in understanding how God sees us. God created us, and God loves us. Nowhere is this more evident than in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. And, when you put your confidence in Jesus, you can truly see yourself how God sees you.

Our memory verse this month comes from Psalm 27:13 and says, “I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.” We will discuss how we can be confident because God loves us and His plan is the best plan. God can use us no matter what. God can do the impossible. We can’t wait to see you this month to learn about confidence!

Sundays in MAY | Ages 3 years-Kindergarten

Some choices are easy—wearing the red shirt or eating the apple instead of the banana. Then, there are the not so easy decisions. What do we do when the decision is hard and we are struggling to know which way to go?

We believe the first step to making wise choices is trusting that God’s way is perfect. Our prayer is that we can help make many of the 35,000 choices a day our preschoolers will be making one day a whole lot easier. They will know to jump, jump and go God’s way, because God’s way is perfect!

Our memory verse this month comes from 2 Samuel 22:31 and says, “God’s way is perfect.” This month, we will learn that we should go God’s way, even when it’s hard. We can tell others about God’s way. Whose way is perfect? God’s way is perfect!

5K: RUN THE RACE

Sundays in MAY | Grades 1-5

This month, we will be learning about the connection between COMMITMENT and God’s character, as shown through God’s big story. Commitment is making a plan and putting it into action.

Growing in faith is not something that happens by merely cramming more information about the Bible into a child’s brain. All of that knowledge in their head means nothing if we don’t help kids experience what that knowledge can do in their hearts. To fully experience faith, we want kids to practice their faith. And that takes commitment.

Our memory verse this month comes from 1 Timothy 4:8 and says, “Training the body has some value. But being godly has value in every way. It promises help for the life you are now living and the life to come.” We will discuss how we need to keep practicing what matters most. We will learn how you can practice hearing from God, praying to God, talking to God, and living for God. We can’t wait to see you this month to learn about commitment!
