SCAVENGER HUNT

Sundays in May | Ages 3 years-Kindergarten

Preschoolers will ask questions countless times as they get to know the world around them. It’s like they’re beginning a lifelong Scavenger Hunt. This is the perfect opportunity for us to not only tell them what they are looking at but who made it as well. That’s why we are going to add another question to their inquisitive minds. Who made everything? Who made the red ladybug? Who made the grey rocks? The white clouds? The blue bird?

We want preschoolers to know that God made everything. We want them to think of God as they explore and get to know this wonderful, colorful world we live in. And even more, we want them to know that the same God who made everything made them and loves them.

Our memory verse this month comes from Genesis 1:31 and says, “God saw everything he made. And it was very good.”  This month, we will learn about how God created the world in six days. On the seventh day, God looked at everything he made. Then, He rested.

Who made everything? God made everything!

BOUNCE BACK: GET BACK UP AGAIN

Sundays in May | Grades 1-5

This month, we will learn about the connection between RESILIENCE and God’s character, as shown through God’s big story. Resilience is getting back up when something gets you down.

God is strong and faithful, always working in our lives. We might get knocked down from time to time, but when we put our trust in God, we find the strength we need to get back up again. Jesus showed us how to face life with resilience. No matter what happened, Jesus relied on God to help Him accomplish the mission set before Him. Because of Jesus, we can trust God no matter what. We can bounce back from whatever knocks us down and complete the mission God has for us.

Our memory verse comes from Isaiah 40:31 and says, “But those who trust in the Lord will receive new strength. They will run and not get tired. They will walk and not grow weak.”

We will learn that God is always with you and trusting him can help you get back up. We will discuss how to keep going even when times get tough and how to choose joy when life gets hard. We can keep going because of what Jesus did for us. We can’t wait to see you this month!

WE GO TOGETHER

Sundays in April | Ages 3 years-Kindergarten

Have you ever called someone your BFF? Maybe just the sound of it has you thinking of someone right now. BFF— Best Friend Forever. It’s hard to be a BFF, even with the best of intentions. It’s hard for you and me, but not for Jesus. Jesus is the one friend that not only wants to be our friend forever, but He can keep up His end of the promise. And, He went through a lot to make it possible. That’s why, this month, we are sharing the Good News with preschoolers that Jesus wants to be my friend forever. Your friend. My friend. Their friend. Everyone’s friend—forever! The best things that go together are my friend, Jesus, and me. And nothing, not even death, can come between us and His promise, because we go together forever and ever.

Our memory verse this month comes from Matthew 28:20 and says, “I am with you always.”  This month, we will learn that our friend, Jesus, is alive and He wants to be our friend forever. He is always with us, and we celebrate Jesus! Who wants to be your friend forever? Jesus wants to be my friend forever!

PUZZLED: BELIEVE THERE’S A BIGGER PICTURE

Sundays in April | Grades 1-5

This month, we will learn about the connection between HOPE and God’s character, as shown through God’s big story. Hope is believing that something good can come out of something bad.

Life can sometimes feel like a giant puzzle. All we can see is the piece we’re experiencing right now, and we’re not sure where it fits into the greater picture the is forming. We can’t always understand why some things happen to us or those we love. Yet, despite our confusion, we can have hope. God has kept promises throughout history. We can believe that God will continue to be with us through what we face now. Even in the toughest times, we can have hope because we know God is always working and can make something good out of something bad.

Our memory verse comes John 16:33b and says, “In this world you will have trouble. But be encouraged! I have won the battle over the world.”

We will learn that whatever happens, God is powerful and is still working. He is bigger than your questions. Whatever happens, Jesus is alive. We can’t wait to see you this month!

PUT ON YOUR SHOES

Sundays in MARCH | Ages 3 years-Kindergarten

While Jesus was on earth, He lived a life that very clearly said, “Everyone can be friends with Me!” While not everyone took Him up on His invitation, those that did were changed forever in the best way.

That is why we are teaching preschoolers that no matter what kind of shoes we wear, everyone can be friends with Jesus. We can be friends with Jesus no how young or old. We can be friends with Jesus wherever we live and whatever language we speak. We can be friends with Jesus no matter how much money and education we have.

There are no special requirements to be friends with Jesus. It’s a come as you are kind of friendship that lasts forever. Everyone can put on their shoes and follow Jesus because everyone can be friends with Jesus.

Our memory verse this month comes from Matthew 4:19 and says, “’Come and follow me,’ Jesus said.” This month, we will learn that everyone can be friends with Jesus even if they have done something wrong. Jesus is a good friend to everyone.

Who can be friends with Jesus? Everyone can be friends with Jesus!

JAM SESSION: EVERYONE HAS A PART TO PLAY

Sundays in MARCH | Grades 1-5

This month, we will learn about the connection between COOPERATION and God’s character, as shown through God’s big story. Cooperation is working together to do more than you can do alone.

Cooperation is a spiritual concept that originates with God. God created us to work together in a community. Throughout the Bible, we see how God brought people together to accomplish something big for Him. When we work together, we reflect what Jesus envisioned for His followers. Our love for one another can point people to Him.

Our memory verse comes from Ecclesiastes 4:9 and says, “Two people are better than one. They can help each other in everything they do.”

We will learn that God wants us to work together. He wants us to work together to help someone succeed. We will discuss how to make a habit of working together. We can’t wait to see you this month!
